About
About This Site
BINP (Notes for the Bioinformatics Pathway) is a personal learning journal documenting my transition from classical biology into computational biology and bioinformatics.
Everything here is written to be re-readable β notes I can return to weeks later and still understand. If you find something useful, even better.
The site is built with Quarto
About Me
Hi there π
I have a background in evolutionary biology and plant biology, and I am currently learning the computational side of biology β building skills in bioinformatics, command line tools, and Python, one small step at a time.
In case I donβt see ya β good morning, good afternoon, and goodnight.
My current learning stack:
- 𧬠Bioinformatics β sequence analysis, phylogenomics, public database mining
- π Python β from first functions to working with biological data
Site Philosophy
Little by little, day by day. There is no shortcut β only consistent effort and good notes.
